tvONE (tvone.com), a leading designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge video and multimedia processing equipment, today announced that CORIOmaster has been chosen by custom motion graphic creators Prismax to drive more than 1000 square metres of video walls at Tomorrowland, one of the world’s biggest dance music festivals held in Boom in Belgium each summer. The units were supplied by Belgian reseller, Intronics, and will be used by Prismax at other large events.

Prismax selected CORIOmaster from tvONE as it is a flexible video wall processor that allowed its’ designers to achieve striking visual effects. Ruben Gorissen, owner of Prismax said,

tvONE’s CORIOmaster video wall processor was chosen as it offers an efficient approach for building video wall systems. The CORIOmaster is modular, scalable and easy to use which makes it an ideal solution for the vast video walls at Tomorrowland. Eight years ago you had to use different cables for each set, nowadays everything is fixed together and in a compact size.

Often festivals hire a third party for switching between the different sources,” he added. “Thanks to the CORIOmaster, Prismax can offer its customers a one-stop-shop show production.”

Prismax has worked with Tomorrowland for several years and CORIOmaster provided a video wall processor that allows easy switching between multiple outlets on a main stage which has up to six full HD outputs.

Almost every DJ in the top 30 has a team with own VJs and visuals. With the CORIOmaster, VJs change smoothly and without loss of time with each other because they can test their set in advance. Before the performance starts it is a matter of plug and play and the guest VJs have access to production and screens. The CORIOmaster makes it possible to organize events by configuring in advance and has a low learning curve. The operation is easy and fast to master.

Another big advantage is the scalability and that the processor is modular. With a small production, it is possible to use a few inputs and outputs, but the CORIOmaster is also easy to expand to a larger amount of inputs and outputs.

Prismax chose Belgian reseller Intronics to supply the CORIOmaster ensuring local support and contact. Prismax were keen to see a demo of the equipment and Intronics quickly arranged this for them. Ruben Gorissen said, “A big advantage for us is that we could use the CORIOgrapher software on the website, and using this, we could view the functionalities before buying the system.”

During the purchase process Prismax wanted to have contact with tvONE to exchange thoughts and ideas about the installation process and improvements for the future. "I found the collaboration between Prismax, Intronics and TVONE very pleasant," said Ruben. "Intronics arranged a meeting with tvONE where we could ask questions and talk about new ideas. The event industry is developing rapidly and we want to innovate constantly.” Thanks to this close collaboration tvONE can respond to the wishes of Prismax for new features and keep on developing the CORIOmaster, not only for Prismax but for the whole event industry.

Alan Greenfield, Regional Sales Manager, UK for tvONE added, “We are delighted to have been chosen by Prismax for this prestigious event. CORIOmaster offers a huge degree of flexibility and is very easy to set up and install.”

CORIOgrapher is the video wall design software for the CORIOmaster and CORIOmaster mini. By using CORIOgrapher, a playlist can be created, then the CORIOmaster will show it. CORIOgrapher works offline and is easy to operate by drag-and-drop, and it is also possible to combine 4K video and still images in one playlist.
