SCREEN TECHNOLOGY FIND IT SIMPLE WITH TV ONE’S C2-7100
Screen Technology find that demonstrating their screens is easy with the C2-7000 Series from TV One
Margate, Kent , May 10, 2006—A single telephone call in November 2005 was to be the start of a strong collaboration between two independent companies in the Pro AV and Broadcast market. Screen Technology, a specialist provider of large screen display solutions began their hunt for a Video Processor unit to complement their large ITrans displays.
They came across an advertisement for TV One’s C2-7000 series Dual Channel Video Processors, a single unit that houses two independent scaling engines and two video mixers that deliver wide-ranging performance features, with multiple inputs and outputs to accommodate, HD-SDI, SDI, DVI, RGB, YPbPr, YCbCr, Composite and S-Video signals, as well as all HDTV Formats and any RGBHV resolution up to 2048x2048.
A meeting was arranged to demonstrate the TV One C2-7100 Dual Channel Video Processor whilst connected to the large ITrans displays produced by Screen Technology. Alan Greenfield of TV One remarks, "It was clear to see that the C2-7100 and the ITrans displays complemented each other perfectly with the ITrans showing the superb quality of the Scaler."
Andy Holmes of Screen Technology agrees that the TV One C2-7100 Dual Channel Video Processor was exactly what they needed, "the C2-7100 is ideally suited to our large screen displays as it offers us flexibility when demonstrating our screens at exhibitions around the world. It allows us to switch between different media players depending on our resources and location, in particular the C2-7100 enables us to prescale any input image in to the exact resolution of our screen format in X and Y without loss of image quality."
Driven by TV One's proprietary CORIO2® technology, the C2-7000 series harness the capabilities of multiple devices within a single comprehensive platform, supporting everything from dual picture-in-picture functions to those of a seamless switcher, scaler, up/down converter, aspect ratio converter, luma and chroma keyer, windowing device, logo inserter and much more.
Andy Holmes adds, "We often get requirements for unusual aspect ratios and picture in picture displays that the C2-7100 makes very straightforward to deliver."
Screen Technology will be exhibiting at InfoComm 2006 in Orlando, Florida between the 7-9 June at Booth Number 3991. They will be launching their new modular tile system which will be used in conjunction with TV One’s C2-7000 Dual Channel Video Processor. TV One will also be exhibiting at Infocomm 2006 and will also be demonstrating the many features and functions of the C2-7000 Dual Channel Video Processor including edge blending.
